The Pursuaders

From watching The Persuaders, the approach I believe Dry ships used most often in their corporate announcements and messages is " Giving Us What We Want".Basically since i did a lot of background relationship on Dry ships i know that they owe a tremendous amount of money to bank creditors out there. But a lot of people out there may not no much about their background/desperate financial situations. Most the time when i read the news/messages of the company they tend to always show more of the up side(positives)than down sides of the companies.Like they would have a announcement every 2 weeks or so about how the company is doing better than the previous year the same quarter but the are comparing it to a quarter where the recession just took place, so of course they are doing better now.For example it's like comparing a student with a @1.8 GPA telling his parents hes doing better than his friend that has a 1.3 GPA.Although he may be doing better than his friend but the GPA as a whole 1.9 out of 4.0 is still relatively non-passing. It's just ways companies verbalized their messages in to not lying about the truth just sort of more hidden of twisting the message to be more comfortable to the reader or listener.
